We are pleased to invite you to this important seminar which focuses on the challenges faced by practitioners working in the family justice system and the impact of social poverty particularly on BAME communities.  This will be a key opportunity for multi-disciplinary sharing of experiences and exploration of strategies to address those issues.

Nkumbe Ekaney QC, a highly experienced practitioner with a wealth of experience in cases where minority and/or immigrant parents have been accused of ritualistic and other abuse, and Chris MacDonald, Children’s Guardian at CAFCASS who has particular expertise on gang culture and county lines, will be speaking at the event .

We are delighted that Her Honour Judge Sapnara from East London Family Court has agreed to Chair our event.

The cost will be £10 for ALC members; £15 for non-members.
